Two weeks ago me and my dad went fishing at a southern stillwater and blanked. So on sunday we went on an overnight trip to whelford pools and the news was there was not many carp coming out. And then at midnight a i had a take i got the fish to the net but the fish slipped the hook. I had no more action until eight in the morning when a slow take resulted in my biggest ever roach of one pound ten ounces. that was all we had but the good news is i am going to florida on saturday for three weeks and plan to spend a few days targeting goliath grouper in the sea and large mouth bass,crappies and bow fish on a private lake.
