Cristening of the new rods

I went to hinders on friday and purchased a pair of fox warrior es 2.75 rods and was eager to try them out and on sunday i had my chance. The day broke cloudy and rainy i arrived on the bank at ten oclock and cast in i had a few knocks then at four oclock the right hand rod screamed. The fish was hardly fighting and i thought it was a bream and my dad and uncle were saying tench then a carp surfaced and was in the net. A lovley mirror carp on the scales i went to seventeen pound a new pearsnoal best i had wanted to break my mirror pb for so long and i had done it. In other news i have also recived a fifty inch landing net.
