good perch baits

hi everyone im planning on fishing my local river and i would like to know any good perch baits fishing well recently. Any help would be great.

When my son's and i go fishing we tend to catch most of our perch on pinkies doubled up and on lobworm, but saying that perch are greedy buggers so try anything. I did once try chicken liver on the grand union canal and had some luck

dont ignore live baits or spinners

Big fat juicy lob worm works for me, ethier on its own or tipped with maggot, or for something else use live bait like minnow or other small silver fish

i havent been fishing long and i dont know about your river but on ours i have come to the conclusion that perch are really really thick. me and my sons have caught them on maggots, worm, bread, sweetcorn, caster, and minnow, these being all the baits we have used, i have no doubt that whenever we introduce new baits we will catch perch!! however i know the prefered baits for perch include red maggots, worms, and fresh caught live minnow. hope this helps and may your perch be as accommodating as ours.
