carl street Quest for a 30lb Carp

As could be expected, on arriving at the lake for my first session on a Sunday morning in June, I paid the bailiff for my syndicate ticket and strolled down the lake with two rods, a chair and a holdall. Lewis Mottram Saturday 4th October

I woke up to the sound of my alarm at 8am saturday morning. Had a cup of tea and got washed etc. At 8:30am, i went into my garage and got my bait(maggots,casters,sweetcorn,hemp seed and pellets) out of the little bait fridge i have and put them in my bag, i checked i had all my gear and i set off to my mates house to pick him up. carl street Carp Spawning

Well with this weather warming up it wont be long before we start seeing carp smashing the vegatation to bits again! Ive heard some people say that they can start as early as sept, im not sure about that my self as it could just be late spawning. One thing i am sure of is there will be a few fish losses here and there due to there frenzied activities. some carp can get spawn bound and not able to pass there spawn.
