well havent been about much of late as health been a bit down. still a couple of days ago i took the feeder out to see what i could get. well all that happened was every time the feeder went in it was followed a couple of minutes later with fish exploding out of the surface as the pike went after them. i reached a momentous decision, i was going to PURPOSELY catch a pike. i went home, got a trace, came back, used the float rod to catch a bleak and.......set about discovering every which way to N… Continue

well its bin a bit of a yucky week for weather with lots of rain and very cold. been keeping my eye on the river as usual, and it had been well up. well the weekend is approaching with the site full of everyone sharing their plans for the weekend. i have been feeling rather envious as i have all 4 of my sons this weekend , and whilst it is possible to take 4 children fishing in nice warm weather when they will happily go go to the nearby park if they get bored it is a bit different when the weather is freezing. anyway when i woke up this morning not feeling too terrible i decided to see if i could maybe squeeze a couple of hours in today
