About Me:

i live in the 'big city' of ross-on-wye, so needless to say the river wye is my stomping ground!!! i am a member of both my local river club and sea fishing club so manage to wet a line quite a bit. the only hard thing is deciding which fish to try and target. i get to play by the seaside once a month when we fish either the bristol or english channel, even if the fishing is poor the night out with the boyz after makes up for it!! i have a 4 year old daughter who i,m trying to convince fishing IS fun, but at the moment fifi and my little pony win every time!!

Climbing the walls no more

Its been a long time coming but at last i can see a chance to get out fishing. Saturday morning!! With a job at work being put back and not having to pick my daughter up til one i've got a 5 hour window of fishing, (if i go straight from the river bank to pick her up in my stinking mud covered clothes then its 5 and a half...... guess its five and a half then!) Climbing the walls

Three weeks now and no fishing done! Every morning i look out of the bedroom window to the river in the distance like i'm in a trance. ''Rivers up a bit with a little colour, bet it'l fish well''.. i think to myself, oh well off to work i go.
