- well done kev on your recent fish we spoke last year , iam after some advice,whats the fishing for barbel like on middle hill court river wye,is it worth a go , only 4 anglers per day is that correct ?or can you recomend a better section would be my 1st trip to the wye ,looking for a few bites on my 1st trip, tight lines daryl

kev c said… - the gabalfa area produces barbel to 17lb but is not that well known for the chub.If you like mate we can sort a session out and i can show you all the good pegs.it is a pressured stretch so blanking is not out of the question but on the other hand their is also the chance of a fish of a lifetime let me know mate.

- i was in cardiff the other week at culver house cross and we stopped to look at the taff it looked a nice river and heard good things about it can you recomend anywhere on a day ticket or free for chubb and barbel.
