- ive only been fishing for 18 months and i am well and truely hooked!!!
i bloody well love it! ijust cant get enough. and i cant wait to get my little boy harvey into it too.
ive been carping, ive been piking, ive been chubbing, ive been on lakes, ive been on rivers, and ive been on the sea, getting up at quite frankly ridiculas times off the day, spending a fortune on kit, sitting next to the water all flaming night freezing my knackers off just to catch one of gods beautiful creatures, are we all bloody crazy or what? what is it about this sport which makes it soooo bloody good!!
so far i think ive lernt quite alot, with the help of a couple of pals ofcoarse. (cheers lads)
i havent got huge pb's but as you will see from my photos ive not embarresed myself either.
ive had some perfect days where nothing seems to go wrong and pull loads out and also some terrible days without so much as a nibble but hey thats fishing.
anyway that will do for now.
if any of you guys can give me any tips and advice, feel free to post a comment.

well what a lousy week weve had. how frustrated was i!!!! all ready to go piking on the river nene, then down comes the rain. well obviosly the river was out of the question, so me and my mate sam took a chance on overstone lake in northampton on sunday. well we got there about 830 (lie in) forgot the bloody bait!! (sam) so we thaught we would try some tiddler bashing to get some dead bait, well that was a non starter so we legged it up the local shop to see what we could get to salvage the days… Continue

Think am gonna brave the elements myself over this next week as lucky boy is off wey hey yahoo.
Local Rivers to me are The Don and The Dearne and from what i hear the Don is throwing fish at you as soon as you switch car engine off!!! We Will See.
The local Dearne is "up" and nicely coloured but ver very cold as its not much deeper than four foot at best but gonna drown a bitto bait this week there as well.
Gonna have a good roam on your site as well to look at all your vids etc.
