Well for trout on the rivers, normally the liffey, drom the source to celbridge, great river fishing.. I am a member of five different clubs on it..
The lough fishing, well the midlands, owel, leane, ennel and to a lesser respect sheelin.
The west, conn corrib mask and carra. Then u have borhnabreena res in the dublin mountains and blesso,
I have fished most lakes in Ireland now for trout..
I alsdo fish for all other species when the lakes are off and the rivers get bad,,, I also travel abroad to fish comps in England, i take an annual trip to france to fish for carp.
I am a member of 22 clubs, i write for the Irish Anglers Digest, teach fly tying casting and guide for trout and pike. I am a coach for the I.T.F.F.A. Youth Team.
Apart from that i sleep..lol..

At 11:22am on February 4, 2008, Noel said…: A few of them get the odd run of sea trout but I prefer the hill loughs where these fish could not enter, totally wild and nestled in dips on the mountains. The fish range from light to very dark depending on the lough. My favourite lough is of the peat type and the fish are very dark with the most beautiful red ringed spots you will ever see on a fish, absolutely lovely fish that range around the 12oz mark. Where do you fish mostly Denis ?
