Save the Norfolks Broads!
PAC launches Save The Broads campaign

Anglers have launched a campaign to save some of Britain's most historic pike fisheries, after it was revealed they are under threat from plans to abandon coastal defences which protect parts of the Norfolk Broads.
Proposals to allow the Upper Thurne system to be flooded by the sea have been discussed by the Broads Authority, Natural England and the Evironment Agency.

Finally a bit of luck
Having not caught a fish in 2008 (4 blanks I think in January) I finally struck lucky on Saturday. A new PB of 17lb 12oz and four other fish up to 17lb 0oz. That's 3 seventeens for the season from 2 different venues... not sure what I need to do to catch my first twenty...!
Slightly disappointed all fish showed signs of previous capture apart from one of about 2lb.
