What type of fishing do you most prefer?: Carp/Pike

What is your favourite species?: Fish !

About Me:: Only started fishing 10 months ago and have to say its the best thing i ever did.Just regret not starting years ago!
Love catching any species but there are still quite a few I havent managed to catch yet (tench/barbel being 2 of them)Hopefully joining a place like this I may pick up a few tips to help my cause in catching other species.I have got the hang of float fishing for silvers,i do ok at bagging a few carp (though my pb is only 18lb)

I look forward to getting to know a few of the regulars here and making my own contributions to the site.

Well after getting to Glasson Docks at 8pm Tuesday night me n a mate fished till 3pm the next day.2 pike in total....1 each.Both around the 10lb mark.Thought we may have seen a little more action than we did but at least it wasnt a total waste of time.

Tuesday 27th Nov 07

Off to Glasson Docks late on tuesday night along with a buddy....the plan is to get there about 9pm and stay till 6-7ish the next night.Just gonna have 3 rods out with deadbait.Heard of a couple of decent pike coming out in the last week or so,the biggest being a tad over 20lb.So hoping i can beat my Pb on this visit :)

Common Carp : 18lb 2oz

Mirror Carp : 17lb 6oz

Pike : 10lb 4oz

Bream : 4lb 6oz

Perch : 10oz

Rudd :1lb 10oz

Roach : 1lb 2oz

Gudgeon: 3oz

Eel : Not caught

Catfish :Not caught

Barbel : Not caught

Tench : Not caught

Chub : Not caught

Crucian Carp : Not caught

As you can see they are not the highest PB,s around but im quite happy with them in my 1st years fishing.Quite a few species to catch still
