I have had a few more blanks on the bank, fishing Motorway several times (I love this water) one overnight session on Woodall’s and a 48hr blank on doctors pond. Then last month I was invited by a friend to fish with him on Oakland’s. this was my first time on Oakland’s and at first sight of my swim the only words to describe it was, sardines in a can, with anglers not 10 yard apart on one bank...
