Your season so far?

So how have people's season been so far?
mine has been pretty rubbish, in fact i haven't bothered for the past couple of months and have been concentrating on other species away from the rivers.
The best time was right at the start in the floods, my local river wye might have been nearly over its banks, but it didn't half fish well. Ever since the river has been low and clear the fish have just switched off.

have you been on the bank this weekend rob i did have plans to go but came down with a cold this friday so ive now got plans to go this thursday,i might go down to the royaltys the river is up with some colour to it now and i got some new baits to try.

I have only had a few trips out this season for the barbel but what time i have had on the bank has been used effectively and out of five sessions i have had three doubles and plenty of fish up to the 9lb mark.I am planning on making the most of this winter and i look forward to a bit of heavy rain and fishing a flooded river for a few lumps

Had a great start to the season in floods after then been a bit hit and miss lads. Went out today 9 th Dec river broke its banks (middle severn ) found it hard going but had one barbel 6 lb 8 oz . Lots of rubbish coming down . Glad to to join BARBEL NOW
