After of reaching my goal (twice ) to do a double (barbel) which took 3 years to catch from the middle severn . Ive found a new way to fish for them and my results went sky high . Im going to just stick to this one method as really feel i do a very big barbel from my stretch 12 plus .

My main goal is to catch a 14lb+ Barbel from my local river Taff. They run to 17lb but a 14 will do lol. I set myself the target of beating my Chub PB and managed to beat it three times in a week with fish of 5lb 14oz,6lb 3oz and 6lb 12oz from the Wye. I would like to up as many PB's as possible.

Im gunna target carp alot more on the rivers, it must be one of the funest types of fishing, lurre fishing, its active and you stay mobile!

My main goal is to get my first thirty pound carp. But i will also be after a pearsonal best pike,roach,tench and maybe a double figure bream. And i will probally be joining either south cerney angling club or ashton keynes angling club.
