Does any one have an idea on how i can get valuations on fishing books? As i have been collecting since i was a child. I have some old crabtree stuff along with old anglers mail annuals. I would like to find out if they are of any value.

Try this site I came across http://www.anglebooks.com as they have a good amount of old secondhand fishing books maybe they will be able to help you.I know that Crabtree goes fishing in good nick can be worth £20 or more but I am no expert I hope this will be helpful.I am hoping to get a paperback reprint of Crabtree goes fishing for my son as it was a book I had as a boy (and got rid of!!!) as I cant afford the secondhand prices and some of the money goes to help kids learning about fishing.I think it is available on WH Smiths site. If you are interested in the History of Crabtree and the man who wrote it I also found this blogg about it http://bearalley.blogspot.com/2007/01/fishing-with-mr-crabtree.html By the way love the silly videos

i to have tried in the past as i have a few books and some are signed aswell i did take them into some local vintage book shops but they dont generally deal in angling books there is someone who advertises in the back of the anglers mail for books failing that i would keep an eye open for a vintage tackle show and maybe take them along to there
