winter targets

Now is the time of year i start planning my winter fishing campaign,including fishing locations,baits and methods.I have set myself a targets too,a winter 30lb carp and a 30lb + pike would be nice!
Whats your targets for this winter?

I'm going to keep targeting the river Loddon down near Reading as it allegedly holds 30lb plus pike.....am also going to pop over to the Fenlands for a week end and target a few pike over there....do you have any advice on where to start?

Do a double (barbel ) from the middle severn but just did 2 in less then 24 hrs 10lb 4 oz and 10 lb 8 oz. I did a monster chub from the middle so got my eyes on that when jack frost is out . But if its raining and mild love to do a 12lb + barbel from the middle severn
