well he seems to have changed his tune now the backlash has started!
there will always be some who give our sport a bad name, it just makes matters worse when they are in the public eye and should now bloody better!

Im going to have my say too. none of us should complain about any sector of our sport (we are all aware we can pull our sport to bits) and i will tell you why.

Theres cheating going on in all types of our sport. So to all the fishermen that want to complain about the pike anglers, i say stop your whinging and get your prioritys sorted out for christ sake. your just giving the antis more fire power.

A ban on one type of fishing is just one step further to a total ban on all fishing. believe it! . So stop taring all pike anglers with the same brush. Support all types of our sport. or you wont have a sport to support!

There are a few idiots in Piking, we've all heard the stories or seen them on youtube. These are the noddies who think its a good idea to go catch a pike with none of the proper equipment etc. Part time anglers.

But I've seen a lot worse from Carp anglers. Casting there rods out then getting lagging drunk, leaving litter and shouting ruining it for everyone else fishing the water.

But at the end of the day these people are usually part time anglers who don;t have any respect for the sport.

Hi Leeno, its a fact of life mate, there are always a few that ruin it for everyone else in every aspect of society.. its usualy the ones that should know better that put there foot in it! tight lines.
