I believe the greatest angling legend has got to be Richard walker i see him as the creator of modern carp fishing not forgetting he caught the briitish record carp at 44 pound.

My fave Des Taylor tells it straight maybe not a legend yet but met him couple of times good all round fisherman good laugh

my personal favourite is Matt Hayes, i know that sounds boring and ordinary, but when i watch his shows they are brilliant, he tells you everything u need to know and he is a brilliant all rounder. i also like martin bowler, i love his articles in AT.

my favorite has got to be matt hayes, as i have learned most of what i no from him and all his shows an wen i met him he gave some good advice about general all round fishing i also like jan porter as he gives a lot of tips on carp fishing and carp tips
