Off topic I know but I live just outside Blackpool. Is Greenhalgh any good?or are the fish really as battle scarred as ive been told?......always fancied trying it but usually end up at either Hudsons Farm,Briarcroft,Cleveley Bridge or glasson docks.

hi dubz, weather was shit, 1 guy i was with had about 14 carp, 1 carp weighed 15lb. i swear down mate this is best looked after fishery ive ever seen such much that the fish are in super condition and the owner WILL
check each persons tackle so dont get caught out. They will come around to each person & take orders for food and bring it to your peg.. pure class mate.
p.s we all caught 1 - 3 carp each, commons,mirrors & ghosties.

i only caught 1 which ill put in my profile now.

get down asap its brill.

hi dubz, here is there website www.greenhalghlodge.co.uk/ lots of rules so please read carefully as your end TACKLE AND BAIT WILL BE CHECKED .BUT ITS 100% WORTH IT.
use pva bags with hemp/particles and sweetcorn gives best results.i think lake is only about 3ft deep, you are talking 8lb / 10lb and over for size of fish, lots of ghosties aswell
god luck & let me know how you get on.
