Hi Lee, depending on how cheap you want to go and how long you want to go. There is many "own brand" poles that most of the bigger tackle shops throughout the country have produced which are perfect for day to day ( i once caught an 18lb carp on one of these poles which my dad bought me for about £70-80). If you are happy to spend a bit more than £100 then Lerc produce some really good poles from around £150+ (i think) these are really good all round poles that can be used for big or small fish. It is worth while talking to your local tackle dealers as well, in my experience a lot of the shops keep things hidden awayand won't put them out on display for all to see as they know they can sell them easily so they sell to their "mates". Get to know your dealer and he should let you know about any second hand poles that he has coming in.

I hope this is of some use to you.

Steve
