Has anyone used them, if so what do you think of them, also what is the best additive to use to flavour the things like fake bread and fake luncheon meat and what is the best way to use them to get the best results out of it?

I always use a plastic red maggot along side my worm as a worm stop when using worms.Have also used fake corn aswell for carp, bream and chub.
To add flavour to my fake maggot i pour some WORM EXTRACTOR into the lid of the bottle, then prick the fake maggot with a baiting needle and leave to soak for about 20 minutes before use.
Fake sweetcorn i have never added any flavours as of yet.
Hope this gives you some ideas.

I use fake maggots, sweetcorn, glowing sweetcorn, Bloodworm, pellets and bread on regular occasions with good success. I've never felt the need to flavour them because the flavour is usually masked by groundbait anyway. Glowing corn is my favourite

I use fake sweetcorn ALL the time, due to the fact that it is bouyant i haven't dicovered an effective way to use it on float gear but for ledgered baits it is fantastic. It works perfectly on its own or with another particle bait to make it critically balanced, also due to the bright colour it is great in the winter and in the summer. One glug i have found really good is Ming Oil which is sold by tackle box for aroun £12 for a bottle that will easily last a year + (according to what i have read it is produced by Lee Jackson......what more accreditation do you need) and the great thing is it is really potent so i keep all my sweetcorn in there with literally a drop of ming oil and it works a treat.
The fake maggots are great in the summer when there is a lot of small fish to get through as they last forever on the hook.

I`ve been using fake grubs and corn for years now and have complete faith in them. I have some glugged in sweet flavours the last 4 years and they just keep catching. You cant beat them for tench and bream or just a tip of colour on the end of a boilie.

I have been using fake maize / corn for years, on its own or adding colour to another bait. I use this bait with the Withy Pool Rig or sometimes i use it as a surface rig with a light hook. I have tried other fake baits i.e.blood worm, maggots, grubs, and bread not had much luck with them but i have had carp on curly tail grub,s that i use for perch fishing.
Try them out for yourself see how you get on.

i have used fake casters before, and there brilliant. if you are fishing for carp or tench or bream (bigger fish) and u dnt want to get pestered by small roach or rudd, there great because you dnt have to keep bringin your hook bk in to have a look at ur bait, small fish tend to chew the end off casters and suck the middle out, so u have to constantly keep changin baits!! i reckomend them!

the only time i use fake baits is when im feeder fishing. i put 4 real maggots on the hook the a fake one on last to keep the live maggots from coming off the hook especially when ur fishing sumwhere with a barbless hooks policy

I have used fake sweetcorn for a while now and i have used it with maggot to catch bream. And when used in conjunction with a bolie it led to the downfall of my biggest carp to date a 26 pound 4 oz common carp.
